
Hello and Welcome!
You are scheduled for Health Connections Driver Intervention Program (DIP).
PLEASE BE SURE TO READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW
Please write the dates of your program in your calendar.
If you’ve only paid a deposit, you will need to be paid in full ten (10) days prior to the beginning date of your program. You will receive a payment reminder email approximately twenty (20) days prior to your program with a link to pay your remaining balance.
Please make arrangements to be at your designated hotel no later than 6 p.m. on the Thursday of the program.
You will receive a reminder email a few days prior to your program that will include downloads that you must print out and bring with you to your program. We will go over all of the information on Thursday evening.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HAD DINNER PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL. We don’t provide any meals on Thursday evening. We STRONGLY encourage you to bring snacks/a couple of packaged meals with you to eat for the weekend. We will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but many participants get hungry in the evenings and not everyone prefers the food choices.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO TAKE-OUT or DELIVERY ALLOWED.
We ABSOLUTELY DO check your bags upon arrival.
All snacks and beverages must be in the FACTORY-SEALED containers. This means anything homemade or opened will be confiscated.
Please refrain from bringing anything that contains any alcohol or any illegal substances. This
includes any toiletries that are alcohol based. You may bring tobacco products if they are in the
FACTORY-SEALED package.
You may bring phones, iPads, laptops, etc. to access during breaks.
NO VISITORS ARE ALLOWED WHATSOEVER. The only time someone you know may come to the program site is in the event of an emergency.
YOU MUST ARRIVE SOBER AND DRUG FREE TO ATTEND THIS PROGRAM. Determination as to your ability to participate is at the discretion of Health Connections Staff. In the event that you are deemed unable to participate, you will forfeit the cost of the program.
YOU MUST ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 6PM ON THURSDAY. This is a 72 hour-in-lieu-of-jail program. In the event that you are late, you may forfeit your program fee and your referring court will be informed. Late admittance to the program will be at the discretion of the staff members present at the program upon your arrival.
PROGRAM DATE CHANGE AND CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel your booking at any time up to two weeks prior to your program date, but you will lose your $175 deposit. If for any reason you need to transfer to a different program date, you must do so at least two weeks prior to the currently scheduled program. You will incur an additional $50 charge for processing and changes. Within seven days of your program, we can not move you to a different date, and you will NOT receive a refund for your paid program.
